Privacy Policy for Minifig Vault

Minifig Vault is a mobile application developed as a tool for LEGO® Minifigure collectors to scan QR codes, manage collections, and track target items (huntlist). This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information unless you choose to log in or link your anonymous session (e.g., via Firebase Anonymous Login for tracking donations).

We may collect limited, non-personal information such as:

• Device type, OS version, and language (for analytics and debugging)
• QR code data scanned within the app (locally only)
• Purchase status and donation records (via Firebase, linked to anonymous ID)

2. Camera Usage

The app uses your device’s camera solely for scanning QR codes from LEGO® Minifigure packaging. No image or video is recorded or transmitted.

3. In-App Purchases

We offer optional donations via in-app purchases (e.g., Buy a Coffee, Buy a Minifig). All transactions are securely handled through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. No payment information is stored or accessed by us.

4. Data Storage & Firebase

• Data such as support status (donation) is stored in Firebase Firestore, using either anonymous or signed-in identifiers.
• We do not store user content, location, or identifiable information unless required for voluntary features.
• We use Firebase Analytics to improve app experience anonymously.

5. Ad Policy

The app currently does not display any ads. Any future ad implementation will be clearly disclosed.

6. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in-app or on the app store page.
